Who Will Be In Madrid's Future Eleven?

How will Mbappe fit in Madrid?

After years of drama and transfer rumors, it seems like Real Madrid is finally getting their successor to Cristiano Ronaldo. With a front four of Bellingham, Mbappe, Rodrygo, and now Mbappe, it seems like another UCL 3 peat is not farfetched. However, the addition of another world-class winger leaves manager Carlo Ancelotti with a lot of room to change tactics. Right now, Madrid is playing without a true number 9, aside from Joselu, who appears to be just a 1-year rental. Ancelotti has experimented with various lineups this year—often playing Vini and Rodrygo in a two-striker front or pushing Bellingham up as a false 9. This opens up more options in the midfield, with players like Fede Valverde, Aurelian Tchouameni, and Camavinga all getting more space to operate. Next year, however, Ancelotti will certainly have to experiment to see who fits best with Kylian. Not to mention, the arrival of a potential world-class striker in Endrick will make playing time even more difficult. Furthermore, Alphonso Davies rumors have also been circulating. I think all Madrid fans can agree that there will have to be future sacrifices, yet no one will know until Carlo sees what works.

Although the future is cloudy for who will start in Madrid’s eventual UCL-winning squad, next year should pan out as we expect. Bellingham, Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Mbappe will likely be at the helm of the attack, with a mix of players in the midfield and the back.
