Top 5 Players on CFB25

Tyler Stearns |

CFB 25 is coming out this year and may be the most hyped-up sports game since 2014 (when the game was discontinued). Who will be the five most fun players to use?

Travis Hunter, DB-WR, Colorado

This choice was easy. Hunter took the world by storm last year after his stellar performance versus TCU in the Buffalos’s first game of the season. He had over 100 receiving yards and an acrobatic interception. His speed, catching ability, athleticism, and aura were off the charts. The fact that you can use him on defense and offense will entice all users in this summer’s game.

Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Everyone loves using a dual-threat quarterback on Madden with players like Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and others. Why not on CFB25? Jalen Milroe is the perfect version of this. He is arguably the fastest player on the Alabama roster and he greatly improved as a passer throughout the year. His throw power, pace, and escapability will make him a hot pick to play in the game.

Zachariah Branch, WR, USC

Zach Branch was one of the most exciting players in College Football as a Freshman last year. His speed and shiftiness made him a great receiver and an even better kick returner for the Trojans. He drew comparisons to Tyreek Hill, Tavon Austin, and other famous speedsters of the NFL and CFB from the last fifteen years. That will all translate to the game, where players will use Branch to open up the top of the defense and turn a five-yard mesh concept into a 50-yard touchdown.

Noah Fifita/Tetairoa McMillan, QB/WR, Arizona

McMillan was one of the best receivers in the nation last year. With over 1400 yards, 10 TDs, and 90 receptions (ESPN), he gained the attention of big programs expecting him to enter the portal after his coach Jedd Fisch left. Instead, he and his star QB Noah Fifita stayed and they look to dominate next season. They will also be a star duo on Xbox and Playstations all over the nation. McMillan’s height, athleticism, and catch radius paired with Fifita’s accuracy, speed, and throw power will give virtual defenses struggles everywhere.

Luther Burden, WR, Missouri

Luther Burden had a great season with the Tigers. He had over 1200 yards and 9 TDs (ESPN) and helped Missouri get to eleven wins and upset the Buckeyes in their bowl game. Burden will also be talented in the game. His route running, speed, and catching make him one of the best prospects for the NFL and CFB25.
