Hello, my name is Tyler Stearns and I am the founder of The Take. I live in Los Angeles, California and I am a senior at Loyola High School in Downtown Los Angeles. I am a massive sports fan, particularly college football, and I love learning and writing about what happens in different sports throughout the world. I was motivated to start The Take because of a sports journalism class I took at USC in the summer of 2022. Professor Fellenzer inspired me to watch and read sports journalism and understand the impact of sports on Los Angeles and the world. Aside from sports, I enjoy watching Chris Nolan movies, I like to walk my dog on the beach, and I like to spend time with family and friends.
